VISALIA INFORMATION
Visalia is centrally located within the San Joaquin Valley of California and is about 220 miles south of San Francisco and 180 miles north of Los Angeles. This area of Tulare County is known as the gateway to the National Parks, as we are close to Yosemite, Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. Tulare County is a very productive agricultural resource with major crops including cotton, oranges, grapes, tree fruit, nuts, alfalfa as well as cattle, calves, milk and milk products.
The weather is mild allowing year round access to the many close mountains, rivers, lakes and even the Pacific Coast. Serpa employees enjoy golfing, softball, hiking, camping, bird watching, boating, skiing, rafting, biking and almost every other outdoor activity. Visalia is also close to Las Vegas and all of the California wine grape regions.
